Three meter diameter STRAUB pipe couplings for sewage transmission system in Warsaw

AFT Sp. z o.o. located in Poznań is a supplier of STRAUB pipe couplings for the project: “The construction of sewage transmission system from left-bank Warsaw to Czajka sewage treatment plant”. This project is carried out by the syndicate of companies: Hydrobudowa 9, P.R.G. “Metro” and KWG of PBG Holding Group.
STRAUB couplings are intended to join the pipes of combined sewer DN2800 of approxiamtely 6 km length and are the largest pipe couplings delivered to a construction site in Poland.
In order to provide a reliable and at the same time simple joining of pipes with 3 meter outer diameter without using flanges, welding or other time-consuming and costs generating methods, there have been produced couplings STRAUB FLEX 3 LS 3000.0 mm EPDM/ss , 2-piece type especially for this combine sewer. The couplings are designed and produced for working pressure 1,3 bar and test pressure 2,0 bar.
The couplings have obtaibed a Technical Approval.
