CERA SYSTEM Verschleißschutz GmbH, located in Hermsdorf Germany, is a leading producer of technical ceramic products. Its product range includes valves and pipe pieces with ceramic lining, which are used for media that have both abrasive and corrosive features as well as high temperatures.

CERA SYSTEM is a producer of:

• ceramic shut-off and regulating ball valves ranging from DN10 - DN300, PN 40
• ceramic knife gate valves ranging from DN15 – DN200, PN16 and
• mills of porcelain.
  

Additionally, CERA SYSTEM delivers ceramic nozzles, static mixers, cyclones, sampling valves, dosing valves, multi-way valves and valves with heating jackets.
Materials used are aluminum, zirconium, silicon carbide and silicon nitride. Standard valves and pipe pieces operate with media of high temperatures up to +300°C, special models even up to +850°C. Ceramic valves are gas tight after closure; optionally they can fulfill the requirements of TA-Luft.

Typical applications for CERA SYSTEM products are flue gas desulphurization installations, the transport of contaminated acids with solid parts, installations for soda production, titanium dioxide, gypsum, hot hydrochloric acid installations, founding of light metals and others. Depending on the client’s requirements the valves can be equipped with manual, pneumatic or electric actuators.
