Pumpen 17-48 der Baureihe BN und Macerator 25U in der Salzmiene Wieliczka bei Krakau

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the most valuable cultural monuments in Poland, which is visited each year by more than a million tourists from all over the world. It is also a historical monument of the world class and as such is inscribed in UNESCO′s First World List of Cultural and Natural Heritages as one of the first 12 objects in the world.
Today the Wieliczka Salt Mine represents both many centuries of tradition but also modernity.
We are proud to inform that AFT Poznan had an substantial influence in this modernisation process. Two hundred eighty meters below ground, two seepex 17-48BN
pumps are installed and provide you comfortable feeling during the visit. Both pumps operate at 28 bar pressure and they are pumping sewage to the level 0. Together with the pumps also a cutting device – macerator 25 U has been installed, which makes sludge ‘nice to pumping’.
